Masking

The Weight of Appearances

Some sounds are meant to soothe.

Others are meant to scream.

Masking was born from exhaustion. It is a direct reflection of the mental tax paid every day to fit into a world that isn’t designed for everyone. It’s not a “pleasant” listen, because the reality it describes isn’t pleasant either.

A System Under Pressure

This track is intentionally electric, sharp, and uncomfortable.

It mimics the feeling of a system running too hot for too long. The textures are abrasive, the rhythms are restless, and the atmosphere is heavy with the weight of social performance. It is the sound of a mind that has run out of patience.

When the effort to “blend in” becomes a source of pain, the music becomes a mirror of that friction.

No More Patience

In the creative process, I didn’t want to polish the edges.

  • Electric tension: High-frequency textures that grate on the nerves.
  • Oppressive weight: A low-end that feels like a physical burden.
  • Constant friction: A lack of resolution that mirrors daily life.

The “mask” is often seen as a tool, but here it is portrayed as a cage. There is a sense of being “at the end of the rope,” where the energy required to maintain the facade has simply vanished.

The Sound of the Breakdown

Masking is an honest look at a daily struggle.

It is for those who know the cost of “fitting in.” For those who are tired of the scripts, the forced eye contact, and the sensory overload. It is a piece of reality, unfiltered and raw.

Listen to it when the world feels too loud, and the mask feels too heavy.

Sensory Reality

This is not background music.

It is an immersion into a state of burnout. It is the sound of the static in the brain. It is the sound of finally letting the mask fall, even if what’s underneath is jagged and broken.
